Health Insurance Issues Survey

Many people would agree that health insurance is too costly. When we were asked to do a survey, my curiosity rose to see how many people would agree. There are many questions one could ask the public to help get answers for this problem. One of the questions I asked over a hundred people was, “If you could change one thing about health insurance what would it be?” The people who were asked were from different sources ranging from physician’s offices, friends and family, a post on Face book and via text. Approximately 90% of all the responses had to do with lowering costs so that everyone could afford them. In reading the responses that came from all of these people, about half of them gave suggestions of how they would like insurance companies to be.
Some of the best suggestions given for change are, there needs to be more focus on incentives for preventative medicine, make it actually be insurance not prepaid health care, put doctors back in charge of making decisions rather than the insurance companies when tests need to be ordered, make it so that no one can be denied insurance and make it affordable to everyone.  Several other people’s responses were that there needs to be Tort reform.
It’s not surprising of how many people have agreed on this issue. It seems to be a problem that is growing rapidly every year. The tricky part is to come up with suggestions and appropriate solutions to the issues in order to make it effective so that everyone can benefit.
The information received in this survey, shows proof that many people are in desperate need for the health insurance issues to change. People are willing and ready to help come up with answers.
